One-to-one sessions

Discover the transformative power of breathwork tailored specifically to your intention. In these private sessions, I create a safe, supportive space for you to reconnect with your body and uncover deeper insights—at a pace that feels right for you.

Group sessions are powerful, but one-to-one sessions offer something unique: the opportunity to work directly on your specific challenges and goals. Whether you’re navigating stress, seeking emotional integration, or desiring a breakthrough experience, personalised breathwork can help you unlock meaningful transformation.

A typical session includes:

  • An initial check-in to explore what’s present for you and establish your goals for the session

  • Selecting the breathwork modality and technique that align with your intentions and current experience.

  • Guided breathwork journey

  • Integration of additional techniques to deepen your experience based on your needs

  • Time for reflection and integration

  • Practical tools to support your journey beyond the session

Frequently asked questions

  • While group sessions offer powerful shared experiences, individual sessions create a container for deeper personalised exploration. In one-to-one work:

    • We can precisely attune the practices to your unique needs and goals

    • Address the unique patterns of physical and emotional tension that restrict your breath and “energy” flow

    • You receive focused support to explore whatever surfaces during the session

    • The pace and depth of exploration is customised to your window of tolerance

    • We can integrate multiple approaches (breathwork, somatic practices, coaching) as needed

    • There's space to work with sensitive personal material that may not feel appropriate in groups

    • We can develop personalised practices for integration between sessions

  • While many people come to breathwork seeking healing, it's important to understand its distinct role. In breathwork, we create conditions where personal growth and transformation can unfold naturally. Many people report therapeutic outcomes, but that emerges from the process rather than from directly aiming for healing.

    A helpful analogy

Consider how exercise relates to health and healing. Regular physical activity can support recovery from various conditions and significantly improve mental health—yet personal trainers don’t claim to heal any conditions. Instead, they focus on building strength, flexibility, and endurance. The therapeutic benefits emerge naturally from developing these capacities.

Intense physical training often surfaces deep physical sensations and reveals compensatory patterns. The purpose of exercising isn't to "fix" these patterns, but to create safe conditions for the body's natural intelligence to adapt and strengthen. Breathwork functions similarly, though often with emotional rather than purely physical content.

    What we actually do

Breathwork creates conditions that support growth and transformation through:

    • Developing greater capacity to be with challenging experiences

    • Building skills for nervous system regulation

    • Enhancing body awareness and emotional intelligence

    • Creating conditions for safe emotional processing

    • Supporting natural processes of integration and growth

    • Creating experiential mismatches that can shift old patterns

    • Offering an attuned relationship that supports exploration

    Understanding the relationship to healing

While many people report therapeutic outcomes from breathwork, that's different from therapy in important ways:

    • The focus is on developing capacities and leveraging neuroplasticity rather than treating conditions

    • We work with present experience rather than analysing past events

    • Growth emerges naturally rather than through directed intervention

    • The relationship is collaborative rather than clinical

    • We complement rather than replace therapeutic work

    My approach

    I create supportive containers that:

    • Honour professional boundaries and scope of practice

    • Focus on building resources and capacities

    • Support natural processes of growth

    • Recognise when therapeutic support may be beneficial

    • Work alongside rather than replace clinical support

    The bigger picture

While clinical healing work is essential for addressing certain challenges, breathwork offers its own unique benefits. If you're currently in therapy, I'm happy to discuss how breathwork might complement your therapeutic work. If you're seeking support for specific trauma or mental health challenges, I can help connect you with appropriate clinical resources.

  • I embrace the profound potential of expanded states while maintaining a grounded, ethical approach. Peak experiences can offer valuable insights and catalyse transformation when engaged thoughtfully. My approach:

    • Carefully assesses readiness and intention through initial consultations

    • Creates safe containers that honour both expansion and integration

    • Supports you in building the foundation needed for deeper work

    • Helps distinguish between genuine transformation and spiritual bypassing

    • Emphasises integration of insights into daily life

    • Values both gradual growth and breakthrough moments

While dramatic experiences can be valuable, sustainable transformation often unfolds through a balanced journey of both peak experiences and patient integration. We'll work together to determine what serves your authentic growth at each stage.

  • This work meets you exactly where you are. While breathwork can catalyse profound shifts, we always work within your natural capacity and rhythm. The key readiness factors are:

    • Basic curiosity about your inner experience

    • Openness to exploring new ways of relating to challenges

    • Willingness to feel sensations and emotions as they arise

    • Interest in developing a more embodied relationship with yourself

If you have specific concerns about readiness, we can discuss them in an initial consultation.

  • Breathwork has well-documented benefits while also being deeply personal in how it unfolds for each individual. Rather than forcing specific outcomes, we create conditions that allow natural transformation to emerge.

Let me share both the established effects and what the practice offers more broadly.

    Established benefits

Research consistently shows that regular breathwork practice can:

    • Improve heart rate variability and nervous system regulation

    • Reduce stress hormone levels and inflammation markers

    • Enhance focus and cognitive performance

    • Support better sleep quality

    • Improve respiratory function and efficiency

    • Increase energy levels through optimised oxygen use

    What breathwork offers

Beyond these physiological benefits, the practice provides opportunities to:

    • Develop greater awareness of your body and breath

    • Build capacity for being with challenging experiences

    • Learn practical tools for nervous system regulation

    • Explore different ways of relating to stress and emotion

    • Connect with your natural rhythms and wisdom

    Common experiences

While individual experiences vary greatly, participants often report:

    • Noticeable shifts in their stress response

    • Enhanced emotional awareness and regulation

    • Improved energy levels

    • Greater clarity in decision-making

    • Deeper trust in their natural capacity for healing and growth

    • Discovering fresh perspectives on challenges

    • Experiencing moments of deep presence, clarity, and even bliss

    My approach

I support accessing these benefits through:

    • Creating safe containers for exploration

    • Teaching evidence-based breathing techniques

    • Honouring your unique pace and process

    • Supporting integration

    • Helping you build sustainable habits

    Integration matters

    The real value emerges through:

    • Building sustainable practices

    • Applying techniques and new insights in daily situations

    • Noticing both immediate and cumulative effects

    • Integrating experiences at your own pace

While breathwork has clear physiological benefits, how these manifest and what else emerges from this work remains unique to each person. The invitation is to engage with both the established practices and your own unfolding experience.
